A Buggy Stop Away is my passion and I love that I get to share it with all of you! Each room was designed and decorated to show some of my favorite thing; the Amish heritage, birds, and the beach! All of the guest rooms have recently been updated with new beds, pillows, bedding, fresh paint, and new floors!

When dreaming of this bed and breakfast, I always wanted to name the Amish-themed room after the first Amish person I met when moving to Shipshewana; hence, The Detweiler Room. Surround yourself with an Amish ambiance; sit back and relax while listening to the clip-clopping of the buggies trotting down the street.

Reservations can ONLY be made over the phone by calling 815-715-0809 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

Please note there is a 3% surcharge on all credit/debit card purchases; this is a charge imposed by the credit card payment company.
